ABOUT Amogelang Mapela (also known as Dude Master01) is a South African amapiano artist from Mamelodi East. He is one of the most important young upcoming amapiano artists in Pretoria. He became interested in music after observing his older brother, King Austin, working at his home studio, and his love for music grew as a result. Since then, Dude has been working hard to nurture his love of music with the support of his brother, attending his Backyard Events and honing his production talents. In 2014, Amogelang joined the Field Band Foundation, where he played the trumpet in schools and around the neighborhood, and the band also did shows in places like Thaba Zimbi. However, that was not enough for him, so he later began to download DJ Apps to learn the basics of becoming a DJ. MUSIC JOURNEY Amogelang released his first album which was called The New Age through Cream Mint Entertainment in 2022, and the record went well on digital platforms. In 2023, he enrolled at the Mapentane Music Academy to hone his DJ talents. Sam Deep, Snow Deep, Louis Lunch, King Austin, Calvin Fallo, Twist Da Muziq, Shimza Damuzik, Gee De Musiq, Senjay, Djy biza, Calvin Shaw, and many more have collaborated with Amogelang. Looking ahead, Amogelang is constantly pushing himself to be one of the top musicians by staying current and collaborating with other artists in the musical world.
