Hey, Haley Johnsen here! I'm a singer songwriter born and raised in Portland, Oregon, blending genres in my own unique way since 2015. I feel like Celine Dion taught me how to sing with guts and passion at a very young age, but artists like Brandi Carlile have helped guide me to be as authentic of a story teller as I can possibly be. If you love artists like Brandi Carlile, Maggie Rogers, and Madison Cunningham, I really think you'll vibe with my tunes! Many of my songs delve into themes of self-doubt and resilience, aiming to inspire others to overcome challenges and believe in their authentic selves. From reaching the top 24 on American Idol Season 11 to touring nationally and internationally the last decade, my journey has been a testament to perseverance. Touring mostly solo but rocking it out with my full band in Oregon, I've shared stages with acts like Joseph, KT Tunstall, and Allen Stone. Curveball - I have also been the bassist and backup vocalist for Big Wild since 2019! In 2019, I released my debut album, "Golden Days," followed by my more alt pop album "Goner" in 2022. Now, I'm gearing up for the release of my upcoming EP, embracing more of my roots as I dip my foot deeper into the vibrant world of Americana music.
