I was born in Invercargill New Zealand. The name southern kid came from being raised in the south of Nz. I moved to Australia in 2009 to pursue a new lifestyle & to find full time work, Which i have currently been working full time for the past 10 years in parks & gardens. I grew up listening to a lot of different genres of music & hip hop/rap was always my preferred genre. I started off making songs from home & releasing them on sound cloud until, One of my best mates reckoned that i should take this serious. For the past 3 years i have been recording my current singles & debut album, In a studio located in Melbourne Australia. I have a lot of things planned for the rest of 2022..
