Jamari Mikell is a Chicagoland artist, producer and songwriter born and raised on the SouthSide of Chicago. His love for music, like many growing up in Chicago, started from playing in the church as a youth and grew into him playing multiple instruments such as the trumpet, French horn and piano throughout high school and college. A self-taught songwriter, Jamari started to produce beats for local artists at the age of 19. A few years later he decided to mesh those production skills and songwriting prowess to create his own music he could share to help influence the world.
