Lauren Hailey is a 21 year old up-and-coming artist in Los Angeles, California that releases music every Wednesday. This rising star is committed to creating a musical space to share her experiences within relationships. "I've been in a few relationships that were abusive -- a hard lesson I learned is that sometimes you won't ever get closure from those that hurt you most, so instead I channel all of those emotions into my songwriting and in this way, I create my own closure." ​ Lauren has written over three thousand songs in the last 5 years showcasing her true and uninhibited passion for music. She writes music that is reminiscent of the 90’s soulful R&B POP but with a modern twist. "My biggest inspirations are Christina Aguilera, Jazmine Sullivan, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Miguel, Toni Braxton, Aaliyah, Destiny's Child, Ciara, and Ariana Grande." The artist has opened for several Platinum-selling R&B singers including Marsha Ambrosius. RL from the group Next, and Keke Wyatt. She has also worked with the legendary producer and performer, Shawn Waters and in one of her most recent songs it included drops from DJ Khaled, Post Malone, and Pitbull. Additionally, the singer is producing and writing music for several new artists. “Although I love to perform, I'm a writer at heart -- I write to comfort those who need it -- those who want to hear what they're already feeling.
