FLO is a femcee with razor sharp and chic lyrical technique, she flows in Creole, English and French to the core of feelings and experiences that make life beautiful, even when it’s ugly. Born on the island of Guadeloupe and later going off to college in the famous slave-exchanging port city known for its wine, Bordeaux France; FLO furrowed the city’s sound systems, student shows, and local venues. From afar, FLO was fascinated by the lure of American culture laced with Hip Hop and hoop dreams. She followed her feelings, flew to the U.S., and parlayed her international lyrical skills to notoriety beginning in South Florida’s underground Hip Hop scene. Let’s back it up and peep FLO’s Musical Vitae: • FLO made “her-story” at the 2007 BET Hip Hop Awards holding her own with lyrical heavyweights Ras Kass, Cassidy, and Joell Ortiz on the rooftop in the Cipher with the legendary DJ Premier orchestrating the beats and primo cuts. • From 2001 to 2011, FLO labored and birthed 4 mixtapes: AFlowdiziak, The Lost Flows, Free My Flow, and Endangered Species crafted with DJ Epps, A Fly Guy, and her current touring DJ, dOOb6. • In 2009 FLO headlined the first Apple Live Events at the Apple Store in Aventura, Florida and in 2007 was a featured performer setting ablaze the world famous Summer Stage in Central Park. • Since 2010, FLO gives back to her community “edutaining” the youth in Miami’s public schools and art centers through multi-media performances teaching Culture.
