Born & raised in Portland, Oregon in 2000, AJ started out his career in 2014 under the alias “Big Roller” on SoundCloud uploading music for fun and taking inspiration from the likes of Drake, Lil Wayne & J.Cole. After many years of balancing YouTube & music, he later turned his focus strictly to music to work on his craft and to get better and improve. Shortly after, AJ changed his alias from “Big Roller” to “AJ Menace” after releasing his short lived “PDX” mixtape. His music entails fun, lyrical, serious and vibey moods and he would consider himself deeply inspired by Drake, J. Cole, Logic, Aminé ,The Weeknd and plenty others.
