Lex the Radical is a Detroit-based hip-hop artist and producer, known for his poignant lyricism, sample-driven production, and socially conscious commentary. As a founding member of the historic Detroit hip-hop group Captwolf, Lex has built a reputation for his introspective and thought-provoking music, addressing personal struggles, spirituality, and societal issues. His debut album, "I Wish I Could Tell You What's Been Goin On," entirely self-produced, delves into his battles with addiction, trauma, Black identity, and fatherhood, advocating against injustice and sharing personal encounters with racism. Influenced by icons such as Drake, Kanye West, Tyler the Creator, and Kendrick Lamar, Lex emerges as a rising force in hip-hop, poised to leave a significant imprint with his music and activism. Parallel to his musical endeavors, Alex founded “The Radical Brand” in 2015—a multi-disciplinary media company that started as a clothing brand and has since ventured into music, video, photography, NFT/web3, fashion, content creation, and podcasting. Through his artistry, fatherhood, and entrepreneurial spirit, Lex the Radical continues to make an indelible mark, navigating life’s rhythms with authenticity and creativity.
