Hanoi born-and-raised. Nhâm Hồng Quân, also known as LOKIE (@de_lokie), is a designer/rapper/singer/songwriter based in Saigon, Vietnam. At the age of 21, he has already released his debut Album, “Chiến Tranh" (2024) which includes 18 songs with different musical genres revolving around the theme of love and bringing listeners to experience different levels of emotion. "Each of us has our own “Chiến Tranh” and it may seem selfish but we all deserve it in the end” - LOKIE (2024) His passion for music started very early, and around the beginning of 2020, he decided to pursue music by practicing writing music. During that time, there were many songs he composed and posted on Soundcloud and YouTube platforms, but it was not until April 2023 that the song "Drunk" was uploaded to music platforms. That same year, he also released a total of 6 songs; surprising enough, “Để Anh” and “Ngỡ Như” were included in Spotify's "Fresh Find Vietnam" playlist, earning the first 30,000 listens. Not only that, the remixes of “Tại Vì Sao” (by MCK) and “Tình Yêu Có Nghĩa Là Gì?” (by tlinh) on Youtube and Soundcloud platforms, respectively, reached 100,000 and more than 50,000 views to date. Up to now, LOKIE is focusing on pursuing R&B music mixed with less popular genres in Vietnam such as Afro, Jazz, or even Synth-wave... His dreams and goals is to bring cultures that have been widely covered around the world to Vietnamese audiences through his music.
