Staxx are dance production team Simon Thorne and Tommy Jones, best known for their '90s smash 'Joy' featuring Carol Leeming, on Champion Records. They achieved 3 Billboard dance top 10s including 2 No1s with 'Joy' and "You.' 'Joy' was also a UK chart hit in both 1994 and 1997. In 2022 Dr Packers remix of 'Joy' was No1 on traxsource. Before Staxx, Simon and Tom met as bandmates in the Sony signed band Honeychile, and had also released material with Carol and others under the name So Damn Tuff & Tuff Productions.
