At a very young age Rey Rock was introduced to music of different genres and cultures by his father who was a well known DJ in their hometown of Tijuana MX. Growing up in a family heavily influenced by music, he decided to pursue a career in Hip-Hop. Born in Los Angeles CA, raised in Tijuana MX and later moving with his family to San Diego CA, Rey Rock has walked the roughest paths on both sides of the border (or as he calls it, the best of both worlds). Always striving for greater things, Rey Rock embraced his dangerous upbringing and applied the same energy from his hustle to his music. Always staying true to himself, He writes about his past, present and future in his lyrics.
