Alicia Blue was born and raised on the San Bernardino line in California. She spent most of her youth between there and South Texas where her father moved after her parents divorce. She didn’t grow up playing music, instead focusing on writing and poetry, when a fateful meet with an aging soul singer opened her to setting words to song. She'd never played more than a few chords on guitar, but was determined to learn and practiced relentlessly. In 2016, Alicia Blue did her first open mic and started writing songs. One of her first songs, “Magma,” landed in Starbucks stores and Spotify playlist and got a lot of attention. By 2020, Alicia was a staple in the LA music scene as a singer-songwriter. In 2021, she went to Nashville to write and play with some notable singer-songwriters. The following spring she packed up and moved there. Throughout 2024, Alicia Blue released several singles including a duet with Lucinda Williams called “Tennessee.” She’s now working on a new album for 2025.
