Coming from the borough of Lewisham, Kohini began his journey as a graphic design student at UoG (University of Greenwich) where he started songwriting under the alias 'preachersoul'. He then went on to work with MOBO unsung winners Ayar and Ragouez as part of a collective going by the name 'One50'. The hip/hop soul singer draws influences from the likes of Anderson.paak, Erykah Badu and Joey Badass which resulted in the dynamic contemporary soulful hip/hop we know today. This captured the likes of Earmilk to Represent radio. With two EP's under his belt, Kohini brings us these chilled vibes as he continues his journey.
