Hailing from Blackjack, Georgia, just minutes from Newnan, Mike Dyl's journey resonates in the heart of Atlanta's music scene. Initially known as a top-tier athlete in Newnan, excelling in baseball, football, and basketball, Mike lettered in high school basketball. However, his path took a cinematic twist when his mother enrolled him in an acting program in Los Angeles, California. After gaining insights into the film industry, Mike's true passion for music emerged. Returning to Atlanta, GA in 2013, he dove into music, recording with cousins and mastering the art of self-recording. Currently, Mike is an engineer and songwriter at the legendary Stankonia Recording Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Mike Dyl's genre is rooted in hip-hop, yet his versatility allows him to explore various musical realms. His lyrical, melodic rap is interwoven with the soulful vibes of the South. Beyond music, Mike showcased his talent on the big screen with a role in the movie "Hump for Jesus," produced by Jordan Peele.
