 Recognized for his singular voice, Sachal's tone and unique phrasing mark him as one of today’s most compelling voices. His latest recording, 'Still Life,' is a collaboration with French / New York-based pianist Romain Collin, released July 15, 2022, on Edition Records. The album reworks classic and modern songs interspersed with spellbinding and memorable originals. It features up-close and personal re-workings of classics by outstanding songwriters Billie Eilish, Paul Simon, Sam Smith, Peter Gabriel, and others, alongside unforgettable originals. Sachal has six prior albums: Midnight Shelter (Edition 2021); Shadow Train (GSI 2018); Slow Motion Miracles produced by Steely Dan’s Michael Leonhart (Sony/Okeh 2015); HI-FLY (Mack Avenue 2011); We Move (Mack Avenue 2009); Eyes Wide Open (Mack Avenue 2007). His 2018 release, Shadow Train, received numerous favorable reviews and has been embraced on digital media and streaming platforms. HI-FLY (2011) reached #1 on the iTunes Jazz charts and was produced by John Clayton; it features vocal legend, Jon Hendricks.
