Horrorshow, formed by vocalist Solo (Nick Bryant-Smith) and producer Adit (Adit Gauchan) in Sydney’s inner west in the mid to late 2000s. They started making music together as teenagers and signed with Elefant Traks in 2008 at just 19. Since then, they’ve been at the forefront of a generation of artists who have taken local hip hop to new heights with albums The Grey Space (2008), Inside Story (2009), King Amongst Many (2013), Bardo State (2017), New Normal (2019) and Good Problems, Bad Feelings (2023). Six albums, two ARIA nominations and Gold record certification later, their sound speaks to far more than just the minutiae of navigating the streets and sounds of Sydney. Horrorshow use their unique voice to explore the universal themes and emotional spectrums of love, grief, loss, excitement, nostalgia and hopes for the future. In 2023, Adit stepped back from the relentless touring but Horrorshow kept up their pace with Solo at the wheel. 2023 has seen a huge tour with the Thundamentals before some time away to prepare for the next stage.
