The musical outlet of cult author Ryan Bracha, Disgraceful Friend was born during one of the many lockdowns and has been a lot of fun. Wry humour and catchy hooks, the music straddles an electronica / electrorock genre and milks it like a cow. The debut album Pearls Before Swine was an experimental lesson in music-making. The second album, Craft Excluder, is a more assured and complete experience, with the final single Fake Fake Fake being selected by Tom Robinson for his BBC Introducing Mixtape. In 2022, Disgraceful Friend will be dipping his hairy toes into the frightening world of live performance. Nobody knows what that is going to look like yet.
