As an understated vocalist and producer who radiates inspiration from the likes of D’Angelo, Prince, Pet Shop Boys, DJ Battlecat and Jamiroquai—just to name a few—QuamieYae illustrates that he is an architect of musical chemistry. His creations are equal parts funk, hip-hip, R&B and disco. While he has been at this music thing his entire life, he recently released some music of his own with a fun EP entitled Nights Like This. Originally from Pasadena, Ca and the youngest of six, Quamaine Jones was born into a family of musicians stretching back past both of his grandparents on his mother’s side. With music being the fabric of his family’s genius, along with a childhood upbringing in church and an instinctual aptitude for every part of the craft (as he is always a student) he’s gearing up for more new music delineating his smorgasbord of artistry, dropping in this last quarter of 2021.
