Mark Michael Garcia also known as MMG is a singer songwriter who started his career as a band vocalist at the age of 16 in Bohol, Philippines. After few years he became the vocalist of Myxtreme band in Manila and released their self-titled album. Expanding his experience as a performer, he went to Thailand and then Hong Kong as the vocalist of H2O band. He started to pave the way as a solo artist by joining Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT), a prestigious singing competition in the Philippines. His rendition of Just Once by James Ingram in the said contest became a country’s sensation in 2019. He was hailed as the first ever “All Star Grand Champion” and was given a honorific nickname as the country’s “R&B Charmer”. He recorded Isang Muli composed by Mr. Vehnee Saturno, a prominent Filipino composer, and released his first composition titled FOREVERMORE . Different awarding bodies recognized MMG as: 2020 Best New Male Artist Nominee by Aliw Awards: 2020 Streamer of the Year by Kumu Awarda; 2021 Music Streamer of the Year Nominee by Myx Music Awards; 2021 Most Promising Male Singer by Excellence Awards; 2022 Best Male Performer by Gawad Awards; 2023 Top Performing Singing Artist of the Year by Brand Asia Awards; and 2023 Most Empowered Singing Performing Artist of the Year by Netizen’s Choice Awards.
