Max Trabucco graduated with honours in Drums and Percussion, from the A. Stefani Conservatory in Castelfranco Veneto, Italy. In 2014, Max had the honour of being included in the "Dizionario del Jazz Italiano" (Dictionary of Italian Jazz), written by the well-known journalist and music critic Flavio Caprera, and published by Universale Economica Feltrinelli. The following year, he was awarded first place of one of the most prestigious national competitions in Italy: the Chicco Bettinardi Prize. In 2016, he released his first album as band leader: "Racconti di una Notte" (Stories of a Night), which is included in Amedeo Furfaro's book about Italian jazz: "Il giro del Jazz in (altri) 80 dischi" (A tour of Jazz in 80 discs); this book was ranked among the eighty most significant publications in Italy that year. In 2020, won another national competition: "Open orchestra, chironomic conducting", and thanks to this achievement, he began a long collaboration with the double bass player Paolo Damiani; who shortly afterwards asked him to join the ONJGT (Orchestra Nazionale Jazz Giovani Talenti - National Young Talents Jazz Orchestra). In 2021, recorded the acclaimed album "Naviganti e Sognatori"; a disc which was among the January 2022 discs of the month of the prestigious Italian magazine Musica Jazz.
