The Shadow Sect project was born in early 2013 and is the result of the union of two well established musical and human realities, Giulio Ascoli [Former WPL and current owner and administrator of Big Riddim Recordings] and Cristian Pavese [Former DOM/The Anunnaki]. In just two years Shadow Sect has released over 12 releases with the major and most important labels on the world scene such as PRSPCT, EatBrain, and some others, collaborating with the major exponents of World DnB such as : Dj Hidden, LucyFurr, Gancher & Ruin, Switch Technique, Hallucinator, Delimit, Sinister Souls, Zardonic, Mizo , IHr and The Satan, to name but a few. Never abandoning the roots that forged the duo, Cris and Giulio attack modern DnB by mixing the classical old school’s European Neurofunk Dnb with a skillful direction, contaminating it with artists, atmospheres and arrangements more consistent with their past, therefore of a rock\metalstyle\techno and rave culture. Since 2017 in terms of live performances, the “Hellish Duo” is engaged in annual tours with worldwide coverage. Shadow Sect has performed at historical events such as PRSPCT XL29, Let It Roll festival, Fortune Festival, Purge Weekender, various European club nights and two intercontinental tours touching USA [New York and Washington] and in 2019 out of Japan in Tokyo .
