Biography

Adam Juhl creates slick house music with a warm, organic and raw sound. Inspired by the likes of Trentemøller and Lulu Rouge, Adam seeks to combine analog and electronic sounds, stating that he loves “the uncontrolled, warm and noisy aspects that analog sound provides,” while also incorporating sound effects from the world around him. Adam Juhl grew up in Denmark and started dabbling in music at age 10 after acquiring FL Studio. A lifelong house music fan, he takes notes from a wide array of genres and artists. Inspirations range from the synthesizer-heavy sound of electronic rock bands VETO and Depeche Mode (staples of his father’s music rotation) to broader categories like pop and alternative rock music. The 2022 single 'Summer Nights' marked a significant breakthrough for Adam, both artistically and commercially as it became his most popular release to date. A jam session with fellow electronic magicians Bless You resulted in another successful single, ‘It’s You’, a track that Adam also highlights as one of his favorites. Other collaborators include Phlake (with his remix of ‘Vendetta’) and upcoming music from global superstar Martin Jensen. He’s also worked with AN21 and Danish pop stars Andreas Odbjerg and Benjamin Hav. Adam’s current goal is to push his music into darker, more club-friendly territory, and he envisions himself producing film soundtracks in the future. This summer, Adam Juhl debuts as a live act at Smukfest, one of the biggest festivals in Denmark.
