Edward Rushton has performed internationally as a collaborative pianist with artists such as Juliane Banse, Sybille Diethelm, Annina Haug, Jeannine Hirzel, Yvonne Naef, Robin Adams, Richard Burkhard, René Perler, Jonathan Sells, Raphael Wallfisch, Simon Wallfisch, and Harry Kinross White. Rushton teaches piano accompaniment and chamber music at the Lucerne University of Applied Arts (HSLU), and has recorded for Resonus, Prospero, BIS, Nimbus, Musiques Suisses, Guild, Lyrita and Passacaille. His works have been performed and commissioned by such groups as London Symphony Orchestra, Schubert Ensemble, Zurich Opera, Hannover State Opera. Rushton studied at Chetham's School of Music, King's College, Cambridge, the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, and the Zurich Conservatory, where he graduated in 2001 from Irwin Gage's class with distinction. www.edwardrushton.net
