Her song “Howdy Christmas” with Hailey Whitters was listed as one of the top 5 best country songs of 2020. Burke is the co-creator, director & executive producer of the first of its kind, scripted country music series, Make It Up As We Go (2022 Webby Best Series Honoree). She plays an aspiring young songwriter who pursues a career in the music industry, alongside country luminaries like Miranda Lambert, Lindsay Ell, & Bobby Bones, as well as Billy Bob Thornton, Dennis Quaid, Craig Robinson & a who’s who of the Nashville music scene. The podcast features an original soundtrack produced written & performed by the Texas native, including the songs “Gone in the Morning” and “Lovin’ Heart” (ft. Garrett Hedlund) both of which she produced. The first season was a breakthrough show in the podcast space - & brought innovation to the world of Nashville. The success of the show pushed Scarlett to the front line of producing & songwriting in the ultra competitive, male-dominated writers rooms on Music Row.
