David Imbault was born on January 14th, 1979, in Orleans (France). It is only very late that he started music through guitar. In 2001, he debuts learning jazz music, piano and improves his sense of orchestration. Arrived in Paris in 2007, he was quickly discovered by the director Lorenzo Gabriele to compose his first original soundtrack for the TV serie 'Fête de famille'. From then on, lots of encounters in cinema and television area allow him to collaborate with directors like Pierre Stine, Julien Séri, Fabien Dufils, Niko Duval, Antoine Charreyron, and gaining the confidence of lots production companies. He is part of this category of composers who knows playing a new instrument in one hour, with a disconcerting ease. He has no musical limit, and is able to compose jazz to electro, passing from orchestral music to rock’n roll. Very prolific composer, David has composed more than one hundred original soundtracks in many formats (documentaries, advertisements, cinema, short movies, sound design for TV shows, etc…).
