Geniunllusion (Marcia Buwa), Born 1991 April 13 in Port st Johns town in South Africa but raised in Durban. GeniusiUusion studied Jazz music (theory & practicals) at the Bat Centre Arts in residency academy and at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. She later studied Sound production and sound engineering at lcesa and Creative arts college. Geniusillusion's first exposure was when she entered Idols SA in 2010 and made it to the top 100. She then entered coca cola popstars SA and made it to the top 46. Having not given up on her d ream she later entered 'The Hustle" (Vuzu) in 2015 and made it to the top 10. Whilst participating in reality shows GeniusiUusion worked part time as a record label office manager and also self developing her song writing/composing and engineering skills. Ceniusillusion released her first solo project in April 13 2017 titled" Beyond Colour Ep" which was produced , mixed and mastered by Ceniusillusion. She released her second project titled* A Generation Of Depression In June 25 2018 also Mixed, Mastered and curated by Geniusillusion. Geniusillusion has been on Inanda FM's (Hoodup) lop 5 hiumg the number I rpot, lgagnsi Fm (Freshcu t) and Ukhozi fm (lnmnbanamba)Top5.
