Singer, songwriter, producer, and hardstuck plat viper main, Tricky Ethan (E) is an up and coming artist based in Brooklyn, New York. E started learning piano and guitar from a young age and started writing original music in 2015. With influences ranging from electronic artistry of Porter Robinson to the cloud rap musings of Bladee, E has been putting out singles and projects covering a breadth of different genres and aesthetics since 2018. Their 2021 collaboration with artist starfall, Viper, blends the styles of hyperpop contemporaries with atmospheric strings and synths. Their early 2023 collaboration with artist Scruff, kokoro, showcases emotional lyrics over a combination of hyperpop, indie and even dnb production and instrumentation. E’s most recent full length record, devious delves into more indie and singer songwriter styles.
