Njaguar (standing Nahuatl Jaguar) is the alias of Mexican producer and composer Fernando Perez Gomez. /// Suddenreverb is a fresh and exciting dub-techno project. One that shakes underground dancefloors, vibrates soundsystems, and moves hearts with multi-layered deep dub sounds, heavy bass, 12-channel-dub-mix and using studio recorded material to produce a live sound that is both intelligent and energetic. Njaguar is the owner and creator of Aztek Electronic Music - A fusion blend of electronic rhythms and sounds with roots influences from all around the globe. His work also championed the Aztec-style of Dub with Nahuatl Sound System, which took subversive Mexican folklore to Australia’s underground music scene with a live band of musicians on stage, including Hiphop and Reggae mc’s, Neo-Soul singer Nai Palm (Hiatus Kayote), the Melbourne Vibraphonik Orchestra and Colombian percussionists with his productions: a hybrid blend of Dub, Techno, Trip Hop with Mexican sound. He has performed in festivals and events around Australia, Japan, USA, Switzerland, Germany, and Mexico. Including Rainbow Serpent festival, Shine On festival, Australasian World Music Expo, among others. Also continuously playing in underground warehouse parties, bars, clubs and okupas. Depending on the sound situation and event, Njaguar possesses the skill to silently move and adapt between the realms of Downtempo electronica, Underground Techno, Reggae and Dub, Cumbia and Hiphop.
