Yirrmal creates accessible, powerful and authentic new music of passion and truth, helping people to feel good, and to feel good about themselves. Secure and comfortable in his own identity and belief, Yirrmal charts his own journey, “I want people to forget about their troubles for a while, to live in the moment and just enjoy this music.” Yirrmal’s storytelling expresses a powerfully instinctive and intuitive pledge, and he has plenty to say. Previously, Yirrmal co-wrote three of Baker Boys tracks, his vocals featuring on his cousin’s 2017 track “Marryuna” (ranked number 17 in the Hottest 100 of 2017). Yirrmal’s second featured collaboration with Baker Boy, “Ride”, featured in the Hottest 200 of 2021, with his third feature “Somewhere Deep” also on Baker Boys 2021 debut album “Gela”. Yirrmal’s self-titled debut album is bold, celebratory and timeless, produced by Andrew Farriss (INXS) and recorded by Studios 301 at Andrew’s Piedmont Studio, and will be released later in 2022.
