Biography

Do Over Don't, known as "DOD" by thousands of local creatives is a creative development company and boutique recording studio in Norwood, Massachusetts. Founded In 2020 just weeks before the start of the pandemic, founder Gabriel Gomes kicked off DOD as a media company. Gomes interviewed dozens of local artists that he then posted on YouTube along with vlogs of his endeavors. Working against restrictions of the pandemic, Gomes used his newly built relationships to curate a makeshift recording camp in western MA, where DOD's first album, "By Any Means Necessary" was recorded with producers Ksully and KZ, and featured 27 artists from across Massachusetts. As hype for the brand built up after the release of By Any Means Necessary, Gomes and his team had their eyes on something big. In April 2021, Do Over Don't Studios opened its doors in Norwood. Since then, the studio has been a safe haven for artists, producers, videographers, writers, and other creatives in New England. It is also the headquarters for filming and editing podcasts, music videos, and vlogs that are posted on their Youtube channel.
