Born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Shotta grew up in a hood called “Drapaline”. He was athletic at a young age and even learned how to play guitar in the 4th grade. His early childhood consisted of playing sports in the streets, being in chorus from 5th-8th grade and listening to all the genres of music that hit his ear from Drake and Lil Wayne to Michael Jackson and New Edition, Chief keef, Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighters, Breaking Benjamin’s, Three Days Grace. His later teens and early 20s was spent working and running the streets when he dropped his first single “Don’t Walk Away” in 2018. Since then he has release 4 albums, 1 album with Bentley Records, 2 EPs, and a ton of single with over 20K streams on Spotify and Apple Music. He took a break for while and welcomed a little girl in to the world and came out of a hiatus and released 7 singles in 2023. And for 2024 plans on releasing more singles, more visuals, and maybe an album… STAY TUNED!
