Hi. I am a 11 yr old songwriter, singer, and music producer. My stage name is Young Lion (YL). I've been making music since I was 5 yrs old and singing songs before I could talk! I love to make music, I love life and I love to listen to music and think about ideas for songs. I have written over 50 original songs and I continue to add to my catalog of songs. I play piano and now that I am older, I'm beginning to understand how making music really works. I am studying music theory and studying the voice. I am a vegan and that makes me happy. I want to share my music with the world! I want to write songs that make people feel good and happy. I want to inspire people through my music to love; to overcome obstacles, and to enjoy life and living. ​I tell my family all the time I just want to help heal the world with my music. I sang at Totally Kids Rehab and it changed my life. I was nervous at first because I didn’t know what to expect. But when I saw that I could make the children smile and sing along I knew I wanted to do music forever. I met with Kenny Gamble, a legend in music when I visited my family in Philadelphia this summer. I really love his song “Wake Up Everybody” and I had the opportunity to sing it to him! ~Young Lion
