The Swedish Railway Orchestra is an electronic music project led by Rob Smith, based in Dublin, Ireland. The project is known for its eclectic mix of genres, including krautrock, house music, experimental rock, art rock, and psyche-disco, while also channeling the spirit of the 80s synthwave, synth pop, and new wave era infused with 90s electronic music energy. The project has released several albums, with "Once Upon A Time..." being their fifth studio album, released on March 7, 2024 on Galway-based independent label Blowtorch Records. The album features tracks like “The Chelsea Hotel”, "Forever And A Day," "You'll Never Take Me Alive," "Obelisco," "I Saw The City," "People Will Let You Down," and "Circus," showcasing the project’s diverse and innovative approach to electronic music.
