Cedrick “Ced P” Willis grew up in Forrest City, located thirty minutes outside of Memphis, Tennessee. His father, Sherman Willis was a soul and gospel singer who was the biggest musical influence on his life. During his early years, Ced P and his cousin Tony B recorded music in person and over the phone. Growing up outside of Memphis, Dj Paul and Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia were his biggest rap influences as well as Lord Infamous, 8Ball and MJG, Tommy Wright III and UGK. He joined the military and met Alan “Al Gutta” Middleton. During their time overseas, Ced P and Al Gutta built the foundation that would become Grind Gang Official Entertainment (GGO). After the military, Ced P moved to Las Vegas, met Robert “DJ Rob313” Howard and started recording music in the Mothership Studio. With the help of legendary producer Raphael “RJ2" Johnson, Ced P constructed his superior musical sound. In 2016, Grind Gang Official Entertainment was founded to create a platform for recording artists and introduce exceptional musical recordings to the world. Throughout the years, Ced P has maintained his belief in God. His drive to increase the visibility of not only himself, but also upcoming artists has provided countless opportunities for upcoming recording artists.
