A singer, composer, arranger, lyricist, defined as "A silken voice, with remarkable fluidity and range" by the prestigious Down Beat, Daniela Spalletta is considered one of the main Italian and European voices, who defined her style by mixing influences from Jazz, Classical Music and Ethno-World Music. In 2019, she won the Second Prize at the prestigious "Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition", elected and awarded by Christian McBride, Dee Dee Bridgwater, Jane Monet Monifa Brown and Matt Pierson. She has been named one of the best Female Singers and New Talents by magazines Jazzit and Musica Jazz. A prolific and original composer and arranger, she released on various labels, both as a leader and as a featured artist. She collaborates with many notable musicians from all over the world, including Glauco Venier, Gegè Telesforo, Giovanni Mazzarino, Ruslan Sirota, Roberto Taufic, Jacek Kohan, Valter Sivilotti, Alfonso Deidda, Dario Deidda, Enrico Intra, Urban Fabula, Jani Moder, Roberto Occhipinti, Adam Nussbaum, Fabrizio Bosso, Max Ionata, FVG Orchestra, Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, etc. She has performed at festivals throughout the world, such as NJPAC, Rendez Vous de l’Erdre, IIC in Nice, IIC Budapest, IIC Montreal, IIC Toronto, Time in Jazz, Blue Note Milano, Budapest Jazz Club, Opus Jazz Club, Piccolo Teatro di Milano, Umbria Jazz, Django World Music Festival, Ambasciata Italiana in Malta, Roma Jazz Festival, Casa del Jazz, Atelier Musicale, Iseo Jazz, etc.
