Jerard Montana, born on January 9, 1986 in Havana, Cuba. Son of a sailor and a housewife, both music fans. From his father he learned the first chords on the guitar and also to sing. As a child he was always involved in cultural activities of the school, participating in children's plays and also in choirs. In 1998, he was part of a children's group of Son Cubano organized in the neighborhood of Habanero de Colon; The songs they made, were sold and that's how his life in the world of music was for a long time. Time later he arrives in Munich, Germany; where he founds a family and starts a new life. After 2 years with a new language, wether and customs. He decides to visit a renowned dance school called Círculo. There he connects again with the Latin culture. After several months and for things of destiny, he presents one of his songs to a well-known Dj from Munich, Dj David Muñoz; from that moment and motivated by Muñoz, he began to remove all his music from the drawer and to compose new songs, including a very popular genre in Europe, La Bachata.
