Biography

In 1999 I worked with Antwon Paige aka Lo-twon aka Malachi Malachee to create the very popular 1999 Chicago HipHop Awards Album of the year nominated “A Sheep Amongst The Wolves.” This album was released on the now defunct record label “Nu World Records” Raymo was the well loved and liked CEO of that label (May he Rest In Peace). I learned how to do Hip Hop from Malachi. Together we created a new sound that was popular with many of the major artist at that time. I have often said that we were the brokest millionaires ever, because of the popularity of the Sheep project. In 2001, I put together a very popular gospel album with an assortment of great Chicago talent. I released it alone. It was simply titled “The Trinity For Life Compilation.” it was very popular on My Space and Across seas. I was ranked among a lot of popular Gospel artists of the day. Sales didn’t do well as I didn’t have the resources to release it properly. In 2006 I got together with my Friend that formed KFT back in 1990. Fred “Swift Notes” Williams formed the group “Focus.” We co wrote the Album “Focus for Life.” This album got written up in The Source Magazine. It received “5 mics” and is still available for sale on iTunes. The album did feature Malachi on a song called “Just Pick Up The Phone.” Since then I’ve worked with Tanetta Soul, Shanon Harris and various other local talents. I hope to continue making strides toward the goal of getting a hit streaming single one day.
