Biography

Glasxs (Melis Uslu) is a London based music producer and sound designer mixing robots with nature. Getting her inspiration from Radiohead and Portishead among others, her debut album ‘Planet Reverse’, produced by herself has since been featured in numerous best of lists and got critical acclaim. Her cover for Thom Yorke’s Hearing Damage also generated very positive reviews. Having performed in venues across Europe, she has performed in festivals and events like London Women of Electronica, Brockley Max Festival, London PureGold Festival, Istanbul Jazz Festival, Nilufer Music Festival, Indiecity Festival, Radiohead DayFest, Who’s In A Bunker Fest, and IKSV Kanyon Friday Stage. Her 2nd album ‘Mavi Toz Ormanda’ has been released under Sony Music. The album has been placed in many ‘Best of 2018’ lists. For her 2019 ‘Bebek Bana Her Şeyi Anlat’ and ‘Space is the Place’ under Sony Music, she teamed up with Mikko Gordon, a London based producer who works with many bands and artists, including Radiohead. Glasxs released her double-album ‘Princess Anxiety / Prenses Anksiyete’ in two languages. It's been featured in many best of lists including BBC Radio and New Music Saturday Podcast. She's been nominated for The Best Indie-Pop Act on the UK's Radio Wigwam Awards. Glasxs started 2024 with a bang with her singles “Çilekli Milkshake” & "Retro Aşk". Her newest single "Kırık Dökük Kalpler," will be out under the Avrupa Müzik label on all digital platforms in July 2024.
