JV is a street rapper from Thessaloniki, Greece with rap, trap, and drill influences inspired by several artists such as LEX and Tzamal. From his earliest years in the village of Konitsa, a small town in the Greek countryside, he fondly remembers how his cousin would ask him to write lyrics together when they were just ten years old. They would later share their creations with their family. His music journey continued as he wrote his first verse for mere amusement during his junior year of high school in 2015. Upon completing his military service in 2018, he embarked on a new chapter, getting deeper into songwriting and making his initial recordings in a home studio located in Toumba, Thessaloniki. He became actively involved with the genre in 2018 at the age of 20. In March 2020 he initially appeared in acclaimed producer’s Dof Twogee YouTube music sessions performing his record Panasonic reaching more than 600.000 views on the platform. Until now he released several singles such as 360 (which was the track that made him recognized in the local rap scene),Moudanion , Adriano ,Lathi ,Sportboys , STRIKE , POLO and CITROEN . Lastly, JV worked with other Thessaloniki-based artists such as RICTA , SPLIT , AIAS , MW , and Gabriel .
