COSMIC ARMCHAIR is a synthpop duo based in Singapore, signed to the Belgian alternative electronic music label ALFA MATRIX. Comprising singer/songwriter/producer Sirius Liu and producer/sound designer Ben Ang, they've performed their brand of electro-pop in Singapore, Thailand and Japan. Fans and critics alike hear New Wave and Gothic influences from Depeche Mode, Tears For Fears, Pet Shop Boys and The Cure; but also traditional Asian instruments and elements of Trance, Breakbeats and Pop. The duo has so far released a full-length album 'CONTACT' and 7 EPs and are also known for their thumping club re-mixes and synthpop covers.
