Legendary Bronx-bred hip-hop duo Camp Lo burst onto the scene in 1997, when their classic debut album Uptown Saturday Night (and it’s anthemic single “Luchini Aka (This Is It)”) introduced fans to the Lo’s intricate flows and cutting-edge slang editorials. They termed the phrase Lit in '96 after dropping Coolie High ont he Greaat Whiute Hype Soundtrack and over two decades later, Camp Lo emcees Geechi Suede and Sonny Cheeba are still one of the most original groups in Hip-Hop. Consistently heard over the production of Ski Beatz (Jay-Z, Mos Def, Curren$y, Mac Miller, Freddie Gibbs, etc.) Lo’s energetic flows and vocabulary sound new even in 2021. They are the definition of legendary as their music remains timeless after over 23 Years in the game. On the verge of the 25th Anniversary of their 1997 Uptown Saturday Night Camp debut, Lo is here to remind fans that their catalog of music expands far beyond that album. Geechi Suede is quick to point out “We’re always exploring different dimensions in visual sound texture.” Asked about what has been consistent throughout all of their projects Sonny Cheeba explains “The BX originality remains.” Both artists have released solo material in recent ly with Sonny Cheeba's Can I Get A Light?
