Christos Alexopoulos is a Greek composer, educator, orchestrator, pianist and music producer. He debuted as a solo artist in 1999. From 1999 to 2003 he released 3 albums with Hitch-Hyke records. In 2006 he founded Puzzlemusik, aiming at releasing albums of artists who have their own, personal, recognizable, distinctive, unique “voice”. 2006-2012 he released 3 more solo albums and "Alice In Wonderland", an album in collaboration with the highly acclaimed Greek author Angeliki Darlasi who made the adaptation of the famous Lewis Caroll book. During the following years he deliberately abandoned the recording & live performing of solo albums and ventured-as a songwriter, music producer and pianist-into a new project with the singer Maria Latsinou and Mokita (the band that was formed during the process). He has also produced: "Fragmenta" by Niki Tavoulari ,the debut album of the rock band Ψύλλοι στ' Άχυρα and co-produced Speaking of Secrets the debut album of the group Playground Theory. He's a founding member of the free improvisation project "The 3rd Man Element" He has composed music for theatre, short film & documentaries, chamber music (awarded in Portugal, Italy, Ukraine, Greece). As an educator he’s coordinating and teaching the “Songwriting Workshop” and other courses in conservatoriums. Oct. 2021: A Tribe in Limbo , in collaboration with saxophonist Yiannis Kassetas.
