Live Dub Experiment is a rythm section meeting with a huge amount of electronics and machinery as a binder. On bass, Yann Phayphet who got all his reggae influences with Sir Jean for many years as side musician. At the crossroads of music and electronic engineering, he made himself most of the electronic equipments which give that freedom with the sound processing to the duo on stage. On drums, Romain Frechin, very active on the European scene. He is playing drums for the Wailing Trees and Alibutton. Down the path of King Tubby, LDE concept is pretty simple, giving a powerful and improvised dub experience, all of it made possible by the unique electronic machinery of the duo. Live Dub Experiment are also inspired by their spiritual fathers, High Tone, from the same city Lyon ( France ) considered as the dub music capital. On stage they are performing with one or more featurings, such as Riwan from the Wailing Trees.
