Elijah Henry is a Portland-based artist whose work centers around high-concept storytelling. His first release, The Organ Trilogy, focused on three separate and equally flawed characters and their self-destructive behaviors. His sophomore release, Have Mercy!, centers on a single character in a similar way, only this time documenting his transformation from loving family man to drug-addled scumbag. Elijah Henry aims to create work that is both unsettling and a little outrageous, particularly focusing on the concept of toxic masculinity.
