Delivering bittersweet melodies laced with vulnerable lyricism, Melbourne artist Sidney, has forged a unique brand of introspective indie-pop that wraps itself around you - soft and familiar like your favourite linen. Sidney marked her debut in 2020 and saw early releases gain the support of Triple J and community radio nationally. In 2021 she was selected to be part of Fender’s Player Plus Series and recorded a live EP with Adam Rhodes (Angus & Julia Stone, The Cat Empire) which she released earlier this year following her debut EP ‘Imposter’ in 2022. The EP which features lead singles ‘Tried’ and ‘NICE GUY’. Maintaining a consistent touring schedule, Sidney has supported artists such as Angus & Julia Stone, Mia Wray, Gretta Ray and completed national tours supporting Harrison Storm, Cap Carter and Shannen James. She has also collaborated with the likes of Ūla, GRAACE, Eliott and San Joseph. This year Sidney has stepped into a new era with the release of her sophomore EP ‘Sore Loser’. The EP features recent singles ‘Cool Girl’ and ‘Bad Light’. The songs have landed on numerous editorial playlists and ‘Cool Girl’ also received national airplay on NOVA and Triple J.
