Mighty Boogie is a beat-maker, producer and dj from Timișoara, Romania. His style is eclectic and influenced by diverse genres like dub, early dancehall, jazz, 90’s hip hop and jungle. He has a dynamic and diverse sound bouncing between jazzy and nostalgic hip hop beats and jungle drum and bass tracks with deep rolling basslines. Originally from Timisoara/Romania, Mighty Boogie studied Audio Engineering in Berlin and found inspiration in organic samples from old records and field recordings made while traveling across Europe. Mighty Boogie has been dj-ing, producing and promoting dance events for more than ten years, and when behind the decks, his live sets are creative and infectiously energetic.
