Jay Khalil developed a deep appreciation for music from the age of 10. Originally born in Chicago, Illinois then moving to Miami, Florida he had always felt that music was his calling. With recording since the age of 12 to presently learning about music business to help him further on with becoming an established independent hip hop artist. He had started to find his own sound and create a small buzz in the local Miami scene. Started to become more consistent and establish a name for himself within the underground scene throughout the year 2021. 
 Jay shows off his versatility when it comes to his releases but has shown that he is heavily influenced by the indie rap & pop sound. His main objective is to use his platform to spread mental health awareness, bring back the concept of originality back into music, and be able to help mentor upcoming artists to learn the ways of the industry as well as succeed in becoming independent artists.
