Biography

At the age of 13, Aaron Malik began his journey to accomplish his dreams as a Hip-Hop artist. Aaron had to chart his own path to success, as being from the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio, he had few examples of paths to follow, unlike those who live in the city itself. Aaron has been able to carve out his own niche as a key figure in what Cleveland.com called "Alternative Hip-Hop." Unafraid to show his vulnerability while at the same maintaining the genre's signature edge, Aaron is the voice of the new generation. In 2018 Aaron joined Cleveland based label FCB Records and featured on two songs from CEO Darvio "Kingpin" Morrow's project, The Journal. In 2019 Aaron released his first single with FCB, titled "My Own", which generated over 11,000 streams on Spotify. In that same year, Aaron released Bussa Move, a single that received over 35,000 streams and landed him on the airwaves of Real 106.1 in Cleveland. The next single, "Insecure", was premiered on Cleveland.com, the website for The Plain Dealer. Aaron's music was also heard on the runway at the 2019 Ohio Fashion Week. To close off the year was the debut of Aaron's Vevo channel, which now hosts his official lyric and music videos. Early 2020 saw the release of "Tempo" (featuring Mad Hayes) which became Aaron's first song to hit over 200,000 streams. Aaron has exploded onto the scene and with every step he takes on this journey he proves why he is known as the voice of the new generation.
