MJ Songstress is an entertainer, singer, songwriter & musician based in the concrete jungle NYC. She’s worked & toured the world with legendary Nile Rodgers & Chic, Wyclef Jean, Beanie Sigel and the Kumbia All Starz to name a few. She also participated on NBC’s mega-hit show “The Voice” Season 6 where she was top 5 on Team Usher! After such a strong showing, MJ was invited to participate in The Voice Mexico where she was a finalist on Team Alejandro Sanz. MJ released her first EP “SEE ME” in 2019 leading off with the sensual soul single “See Me”. A message about being seen and having your partner know exactly who you are. During the 2020 pandemic MJ did not stop creating. She released a Latin-dance infused single “Give Me Tonight” & the latin version “Dame La Noche” along with an Afro-beat remix featuring Latin rapper, Pinto Wahin. As the Christmas holiday was approaching she wanted to bring some joy and fun, channeling her inner child she created and released an original Christmas song titled “FA LA LA LA LA” which charted in the top 20 retail stores chart. Her 2021 January release was “Carousel”. A Kaytranada inspired house/pop/dance type of record. Her most recent EP release is “CAROUSEL (The Remixes)” featuring Hip Hop legends Naughty By Nature, bringing a whole new wave of energy.
