Ireland's OG emcee, Rí Rá comes from the first wave of Irish hip hop artists, going back to the mid 80's. A wordsmith, multi instrumentalist, and producer, Rí Rá has released solo albums, (Horses Work For Donkeys Wages 2009, The 13th Tide 2022), and also collaborated with reggae giants Sly & Robbie, and the late Irish songstress Sinéad O'Connor, among many others. His song writing has gained praise from past punk poets, the late Shane MacGowan, and Joe Strummer (The Clash). With an ongoing output over 35 years, the original Rí Rá has more than gained and earned his legendary status.
